Warranty Policy

At Gulf Coasts Co. LLC (GCCO), we are committed to providing our customers across the UAE with high-quality tyres, car batteries, and automotive products backed by reliable warranty coverage. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and exclusions that apply to all products purchased from GCCO or through our official website.

1. Tyre Warranty

All tyres sold by GCCO include a manufacturer's limited warranty ranging from 1 to 5 years, depending on the manufacturer's specific policy. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and is administered by the tyre manufacturer's authorized representatives.

Claim Process

  • The tyre must be submitted with the original purchase invoice.
  • The defective tyre will be sent to the manufacturer or its authorized agent for inspection.
  • The inspection process typically takes 2 to 3 weeks.
  • During the inspection period, the customer may be required to purchase a replacement tyre.
  • If the manufacturer approves the claim, compensation will be provided based on the remaining tread life or the manufacturer's decision.

Warranty Exclusions (Tyres)

This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Damage caused by road hazards such as cuts, punctures, bruises, impact breaks, or stone drills.
  • Improper maintenance, including incorrect inflation, wheel misalignment, or overloading.
  • Tyres used beyond their original tread life or with tampered or missing DOT codes.
  • Damage caused by racing, drifting, chemicals, fire, or improper installation.
  • Cosmetic or noise-related issues that do not affect performance or safety.
  • Tyres used on vehicles for which they were not originally specified.

2. Car Battery Warranty

All car batteries sold by GCCO are covered under the manufacturer's warranty for 12 months from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated on the invoice). This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and is subject to the manufacturer's inspection and approval.

Claim Process

  • The original purchase invoice must be presented at the time of claim.
  • The defective battery must be returned to the same GCCO branch where it was purchased.
  • The customer is responsible for delivering the battery to the service location.
  • The manufacturer's authorized agent will inspect the battery to determine eligibility.
  • If the claim is approved, a replacement or compensation will be provided according to the manufacturer's warranty terms.

Warranty Exclusions (Batteries)

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Missing or tampered manufacturer labels.
  • Physical damage, corrosion, or drained electrolytes.
  • Improper installation or use in non-standard vehicles.
  • Faulty vehicle electrical systems or overcharging.
  • Use of the battery for purposes other than intended.

3. Service & Spare Parts Warranty

  • Services such as wheel alignment, balancing, or other mechanical work are not covered by any warranty once the vehicle is released to the customer.
  • Aftermarket or used parts are sold without warranty.
  • Original (OEM) parts include only the warranty provided by the authorized distributor.

4. General Terms & Liability

  • Customers authorize GCCO to test-drive vehicles when required for inspection or diagnosis.
  • GCCO is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
  • Customers must remove all personal items before handing over their vehicle for service.
  • Full payment must be made before the vehicle is released.

By purchasing or servicing with GCCO, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms stated in this Warranty Policy. GCCO reserves the right to update or amend this policy in alignment with manufacturer and company standards.
